Burglary is an activity that involves illegal entry into house or home to commit a crime act, obviously the act will be theft of things. In United States, for every 15 seconds a home is robbed by the criminals. More than 62% of burglaries occur during the day time that is between 10 Am to 3 Pm.

Usually criminals use several ways to enter the house and 34% criminals prefer entering through front door, 23% enter house through 1^st floor window, 22% criminals come from back door, 9% come through garage and 2% of criminals enter house from 2^nd floor.

Burglars usually takes less than 60 seconds to open the door or to enter the house and after entering they spend only 12 minutes in the house. Mostly robbers concentrate on stealing items such as cash, jewelery, cameras, laptops, firearms, electronic and sliver.

Reports show that police catch only 1 out of 10 criminals and only 13% of criminals indulged in burglary activities are arrested every year.
