In present days, motor vehicles are used by most of the individuals for transportation purpose. Due to large number of motor vehicles riders in the world, the vehicle crashes between the riders has become quite common.

This infographic depicts the vehicle crashes statistics from 1990 – 2009. since 1990, the deaths number due to vehicles crashes was declined by 24% and the total fatal crashes were down by 23%. From 1990 – 2009, more than 25 out of every 1 million died while riding a mini van, 56 per million has died while traveling in a mid sized car, 82 riders have died while driving a small car and 46 individuals out of every 1 million people have died while traveling in large car due to vehicles crash.

The total vehicles affected bycrashes for year 2011 include 15.5 million. And more than 2.7 million cars were sold with open recalls.
