The latest survey on women and safety has revealed that there has been a 73% rise in the number of women purchasing guns.

A quarter of Michigan’s concealed weapons’ permit holders are women. The top five fire arms owned by women are: Glock (model 19), Heckler & Koch (P2000 compact), Kahr arms P9, NAA guardian pistol and LCP pistol Ruger.

Among politicians, Republicans own the most fire arms. 67% of the fire arm owners use it for self-defense, 66% for target shooting and 58% for hunting.50% of the shooters at National Shooting Sports Foundation are women. 16.4% of the hunters are women.
