California Institute of Technology of in the US region is the top university with the overall score of 94.8.The overall score of CIT in 2011 was 96.0. Harvard University which was the top most university of the year 2011 saw a drop from 96.1 and came down to second position this year with the overall score of 93.9.

MIT came down from 3rd position with 95.6 in 2011 to  7th position this year. Oxford University, which was in 6th place last year, is now holding the 4th position with 93.6 overall score. The University which was not in the top 10 last year is University of Chicago. This University climbed the ladder from the 12th position and settled itself in the 9th place this place, thus earning a name in World’s Top 10 Universities 2012.
