To start with, Vatican is well known with merely 832 residents as the least populous country on the planet of earth. The tiny country is followed by another small territory named Nauru with just 9,322, which is followed by Tuvalu that is populated with 10,544.

But when we look at the smaller countries, Dominca, a Caribbean Island remains at the top of the list. While Marshal Island stands 2^nd  from the top followed by Saint Kitts and Nevis. However, with modest population remaining countries such as Liechtenstein, Monaco, San Marino and Palau fall in the middle of list.
